Eleonora Nazander, member of the Strategic Planning Committee, is a statistician and economist committed to the use of data for economic development and social impact. He has experience in data analysis, market research, behavioral economics and data storytelling.
Eleonora believes that the key to making the world a better place lies in making decisions based on facts and understanding consumer psychology. She has studied, worked and volunteered in many parts of the world, including developing countries. Eleonora has a master's degree in Business Analysis from Aalto University (Finland) and a degree in Management from the Saint Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics (Russia). She also brings her skills as a legal assistant, her passion for the intersection of social justice and technology, and her experiences as a volunteer in campaigns and education to her position at My New Red Shoes.
In this previous position, Zoe worked closely with My New Red Shoes on the design and launch of Project Empower, a pilot basic income program for some Tahirih clients. The Red Shoe Society is made up of philanthropic-minded professionals who bring passion, energy and fresh ideas. The Red Shoe Society (RSS) is a group of professional members dedicated to promoting the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa %26 Western Illinois (RMHC-EIWI). Zoe Verni, community engagement and partnerships coordinator, leads basic income programs and community engagement opportunities at My New Red Shoes.
