The Red Shoe Society is a group of like-minded young professionals with the collective goal of helping to make a difference in the lives of families with seriously ill children being treated at MUSC Shawn Jenkins Children's Hospital. The group of young leaders from the Ronald McDonald House in Fort Worth is known as the Red Shoe Society (RSS). He works at BoomTown, one of the sponsors of the Red Shoe Society, and has been involved with the Ronald McDonald House since college. The Red Shoe Society organizes a series of events throughout the year designed to bring together professionals in order to expand their personal and professional networks and, at the same time, raise awareness about RMHC-UM.
By raising awareness about Ronald McDonald House Charities through networks and events, and by offering local professionals volunteer opportunities that have a direct impact on the organization, the Red Shoe Society intends to create a long-term support base for the charity and its initiatives. She has enjoyed all these special moments with her students, so she is honored to be part of The Red Shoe Society.
