Every year, teams of volunteers meet at the intersections of San Diego and collect donations from those who travel daily to support the Ronald McDonald House in San Diego. This is our biggest community fundraiser and helps our House provide a “home away from home” for families with children in local hospitals. The red shoes was inspired by a fairytale. While the horror story behind The Red Shoes isn't based on a true story, it's a vague adaptation of a Hans Christian Andersen fairytale.
